Obstetric Anaesthesia Training Simulator

This course addresses the skills required for safe anaesthetic practice within the obstetric unit.

The course is aimed at trainees in the early stages of training in obstetric anaesthesia. Trainees who have recently obtained their obstetric competencies have also found the course helpful.

Using the human patient simulator in combination with other simulator modalities, the course offers participants hands on experience of managing relevant scenarios. The course has been developed and is delivered by a faculty of experienced obstetric anaesthetists from across Scotland.
